WHO WE ARE

A pioneering idea that occupied our thinking and interests because we are proactive and influenced by what's around us.
Yes, we want to improve our society. Yes, we have enough voluntary and community experience to contribute to human development to be partners in building society.
For four years, we committed ourselves to trying to advance our reality and achieved much, but we were not a legal personality until 17 October 2017.
 
 
On this day, the idea that became a reality was called Baity for Development and lived in Bustan Al-Diwan in old Homs and It has become evidenced by its motto, which expresses the connectedness of the family that inhabits the home open to all.
Baity for Development foundation is licensed to operate throughout the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic with its publicity number 2541 of 2017.
It has two classifications:
- Education and Empowerment
- Development and Population.
 
Its objectives are : 
  1. Contribute and work towards the education and empowerment of family members at all stages and fields and build their abilities and develop their skills through the establishment and implementation of programs and the construction of buildings necessary for the implementation of these programs.
  2. Family access to self-reliance by generating income through the establishment and implementation of education, vocational training, information technology and incubators' programmes, small and medium enterprises.
  3. Contribute to rural development, communities and urban neighbourhoods through the implementation of projects that support the resilience, development and capacity-building of these communities.
Baity for Development currently has several fixed projects, the most important of all are : 
  1. Home of Activities in Al-Hamidiya neighbourhood , which is concerned with the education and empowerment of children.
  2. Youth home in Jamal Al-Din neighbourhood concerned with youth education and empowerment.
  3. Baity Garden in Jamal Al-Din neighbourhood which is concerned with the development of all family members.

If we want to overcome the challenges that plague our society, education is the medicine and the way. Baity for Development aims at educational programmes carried out by children and young people, while training programmes are aimed at empowering all family members from early childhood to the elderly. Baity for Development is concerned with the empowerment of its members in many areas, including: Computer programs, technical skills and sports as well as life skills programs and vocational training programs.

Increasing the choices fot the members of society is the definition of development adopted in my home. In its programmes, Baity for Development seeks to focus on climate conservation through the use of natural resources and the reduction of fuel use. In addition , Baity for Development raises the community's awareness of the material and immaterial heritage, especially the youth group, to contribute to rural development and urban communities through its studies and proposing solutions that meet the needs of the community to be projects that can be implemented.
